Areas of use

For every service and every occasion.

From the quiet weekday Mass to the great feast day – eKlecia® is always ready.

Sunday and weekday services
The most common use. Set up the hymn list in the morning, operate the app during the service – done.
Liturgies of the Word
Even without a priest, the music remains: eKlecia® reliably accompanies Liturgies of the Word.
Feast days and holy days
Christmas, Easter, Corpus Christi – the church sounds full even on the great feast days.
Branch churches without an organist
Especially in parish communities with several churches, no organist can be everywhere at once. eKlecia® fills the gaps.
Processions and open-air services
With a battery-powered speaker and offline mode it can be used outdoors too – Corpus Christi, the Feast of St Florian, Harvest Thanksgiving.
Sacraments
Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation – accompanied with solemnity, even when no one is sitting at the organ.
From practice

How parishes use eKlecia®

Short reports from congregations that work with the app.

„In our parish we have two branch churches where no organist has been available for years. With eKlecia® the weekday services sound like they used to again – the older worshippers are delighted.“
— Parish council member
„On Corpus Christi we accompanied the procession with a battery-powered speaker and a tablet. No one noticed it wasn't a classical organist – only that the music sounded full and solemn again.“
— Sacristan of a parish
„Our First Communion was the first celebration with eKlecia®. The children sang along, the parents were moved – and the church was once again filled with the sound of a real organ.“
— Pastoral associate

FAQ

Frequently asked questions from parishes

How loud does the app sound in a large church? +

That depends on the speaker, not on the app. eKlecia® outputs a clean audio signal – through your existing church sound system or a decent external speaker it sounds convincing even in large church spaces. We are happy to advise you on choosing a speaker.

Can I operate the app on my own during the service? +

Yes. The hymn list runs through automatically: after each hymn the app stops and returns to the list. One tap on play is enough for the next hymn. Even the priest can operate the app on the side.

What about the diocesan supplement to the Gotteslob? +

The main section of the Gotteslob is fully included. The diocese-specific supplements are being added step by step. Let us know which hymns you need – we prioritise on request.

Can several parishes in a parish community use the app? +

Yes. For parish communities and deaneries we offer individual group licences. Contact us for a tailored quote.
