eKlecia® is the answer to a problem we know first-hand – born of a love for people who come together to sing, to make music and to listen to it. Not out of a business plan.
How eKlecia® came to be
Behind eKlecia® stands a small team of musicians and software developers – heart and soul in what we do. For years we ourselves served as volunteers in parishes: as organists, as sacristans, as helpers on a Sunday. In doing so we experienced first-hand what the shortage of organists means in practice – especially in rural areas: services that fall through, improvised makeshift solutions with CDs, quiet devotions without any music.
It quickly became clear: a CD played from tape is no dignified substitute in the long run. A different solution was needed – a system that thinks along and keeps learning. In short: a system as "human" as possible, one that anyone can operate without having to be a sound engineer. That is how eKlecia® was born – not at a desk, but in the midst of parish life: there, where people come together on Sundays and sing as one.
Today eKlecia® accompanies parishes, care facilities and hospitals through their everyday worship – from the Bavarian village church to the hospital chapel in the city. With a range of features that makes genuine organ accompaniment possible.
The first Christmas Mass
For the very first time the digital organist was used at a Christmas Mass – in a parish that had long had to do without organ music. The reactions were overwhelming: at last there was music in the church again.

That question was the finest praise – and at the same time proof that the app is perceived as a fully-fledged organist. Ever since, the church choir has been rehearsing with eKlecia®, and thanks to the musical accompaniment the services are once again enjoying greater popularity.
Far too many parishes still have to do without the magic of music in their house of worship. Yet we have no wish to replace any organist, nor do we see ourselves as competition – we are closing a gap that gapes painfully in many places. eKlecia® stands for both at once: for the future and for the preservation of a centuries-old tradition. It is more than a device – within it lie the heart and soul of a musician. We wish you and your parish, from the bottom of our hearts, much joy with it.
